The LULAC Denison Youth Council

was founded in June 2022 and is an extension of LULAC Denison Council #381. Membership is open to any local students from 8th through 12th grade and there is no membership fee. The Youth Council is run by its own elected officials (with supervision from LULAC Denison) and is community-, not school-, affiliated. Members work to advance minority causes in the community and focus on community service, cultural education, issues awareness, and voter registration.

Officers

Officers are elected from the LULAC Denison Youth Council’s official membership, serve one-year terms, and make up the Executive Board of the Youth Council. Additional leadership opportunities – such as committee chairs and project managers – are available for the inspired and engaged!
