On Saturday, June 24, 2023, LULAC Denison will be hosting the 2nd annual Immigrant Heritage Festival. The festival is a celebration of the many vibrant cultural groups - both new and old - who have made Denison and West Central Iowa home. A parade, delicious foods, and fun performances will bring people together from across West Central Iowa for unique shared experiences and to support our community scholarship program.

Last year we raised over $6,000.00 for local scholarships by bringing together different heritage and cultural groups. An estimated 1,000 people attended during the course of the afternoon and evening of our first year. The Immigrant Heritage Festival provides an opportunity to bring people together locally and regionally for shared experiences in the arts and cultures of the many immigrant groups in Denison/ Crawford County.
